The Full Story

About

The Vermont Cavers’ Association, Grotto 394 (chapter) of the National Speleological Society, is an organization composed of cavers and other individuals interested in conserving, locating, exploring and researching caves in Vermont. Holding quarterly meetings, the VCA works to address the issues of cave access and landowner relations, conservation of surface and sub-surface resources, and safe caving practices.

The Vermont Cavers Association is dedicated to the exploration, preservation, and study of the unique cave systems of Vermont. We strive to promote safe and responsible caving practices, foster a community of passionate cavers, and protect the natural environments we explore. Through education, research, and collaboration, we aim to advance the understanding and appreciation of Vermont's underground landscapes
